We are the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Support (Dutch Association for Support). We are a member of the European Union for Supported Employment (EUSE) and the World Association for Supported Employment (WASE).
The purpose of the association is
- A the development of methods of support and education which will help disabled people to participate into the society;
- B the development of the methodology of supported employment and in relation to this, ways of supported employment, without restrictions, for disabled persons in regular jobs;
- to support members of the association using the methodology described in A and B
- to give information about the methodology described in A and B
- to promote a positive contribution to the process of changing the view and attitude of organisations, employers and persons concerning the possibilities of participation for disabled people in regular jobs and in society in general
- to promote the exchange of knowledge and experience concerning the methodologies named in A and B, using the contact with similar professional or non professional organisations in European countries, the European Union or similar organisations all over the world.
